Jessica Farris

Kennel Assistant / Play Yard Supervisor

Hello. My name is Jessica. I have lived in Colorado my entire life. I grew up in the mountains and moved to Longmont in 2004. I now live in Loveland with my 4 roommates. I am so happy I get to work at Happy Tails. I absolutely love dogs and all animals.

I have worked in a boarding/daycare facility in Gunbarrel for almost 2 years before coming to Happy Tails. I have always wanted to become a veterinarian since I was little. Schooling was too difficult for me, so I have decided I want to open and run my own animal rescue some day. I graduated from Front Range Community College with an associate’s in Psychology about 2 years ago. I hope to incorporate my Psychology degree with something to do with animals.

I have had dogs my entire life and cats for about 10 years. I love all of them! I adopted a beagle mix about 2 years ago and she is just the best. She’s now 4 years-old and I named her Lucy Lou.

When I’m not working at Happy Tails, I enjoy hanging out with my roommates, family members and my dog. I also like taking long walks with Lucy Lou as well as play in the park with her. I do not like doing things without her because she’s my fur baby and a member of my family.

Fun Facts:

  • I am a Colorado native, but I have never been snowboarding or skiing because I hate the snow.

  • I can play the piano and the flute.

  • I am not-so-secretly obsessed with mermaids.

 Rebekka Davis

Kennel Assistant / Play Yard Supervisor

My name is Beka Davis. I’ve been working professionally with dogs for 3 years now. I live in Fort Collins and went to college to study Theatre and Anthropology.

I believe that animals are a big part of anyone’s family and should be treated with as much care and attention as any other family member.
