Walk In and Day-of Reservations	In order to adequately staff for a day of daycare, as well as to provide quick and efficient service to our morning customers, we need to have all reservations at least by 5 pm the day prior. Emails and Voicemails are acceptable. For customers with last minute needs, contacting us after 5 pm or on the morning of, we'll do the best we can to accommodate your need for DayCare but there is a $2 fee added for this service.	$22
Multiple Dog Discount	As with our boarding services, Day Care rates receive an additional 10% off for more than one dog.	10%

Our Boarding rates: Small dog: $27, Large Dog $31.

Are for a 24 hour period - if you have a partial day at the end of your stay you will be charged for a day of Daycare at the end instead of an addition day's boarding.

ALL boarding dogs get more than 4 hours of comingled playtime every day! This is INCLUDED in our boarding fees because we feel it is very important for our dogs' health and mental well being to get out and socialize on a daily basis.

We offer a 10% disount for multipe dogs.

Medicine dispensing is an additional: $3/day

$10 Off-hour pickup or dropoff fee if you arrive outside of our office hours.

Discount options allow for up to a 25% discount!

30 Minute Window: We request that drop offs and pickups are completed within a 30 minute window of the time you specify when you make your reservation. This helps us regulate how many customers are waiting for help at any time. If your schedule changes, please just give us a call to let us know when you expect to arrive.

Late Fees: Pickup and Dropoffs must be completed within the stated hours above. Late (or early) arrivals will be assessed a Late Fee of $10, however we cannot guarantee staff will be available for drop-in arrivals without notice.

Minimum & Deposit: Reservations that encompass Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and / or New Years Day will be subject to a minimum number of nights (3 at Thanksgiving, 4 at Christmas). A non-refundable deposit equal to that many night’s stay will be required when the reservation is made.

Holiday Cancellations: Cancellations of holiday reservations must be made 1 week prior to the reservation check in date in order to receive a credit in the amount of the deposit that will be valid for 1 year. Cancellations made with less than 1 week’s notice will not receive a credit for their deposit.

Requirements for your Dog to stay at Happy Tails Dog Ranch

Vaccinations:

Proof of vaccination from your veterinarian is required.

Bordetella: Current within 6 months (preferred) or 1 year
Rabies: current within 1 year or 3 years, depending on your vet's recommendation
Distemper / Parvo / Parainfluenza: current within 1 year or 3 years, depending on your vet's recommendation

Temperment:

Your dog must have a temperament suitable for safe and enjoyable comingled play. Our play groups are always supervised, and when necessary they are divided into groups of like temperment, size and exhuberance.

Intact Dogs:

Intact males are not accepted at HTDR. Intact females who have a chance to be in their heat cycle are not accepted at HTDR. Both of these policies are to protect all animals within our care as the presence of intact males or cycling females can have unpredictable effects upon the rest of the group.

Puppies:

Yes, we will care for your puppies! Whether you need to board them over night or bring them in for socialization and day care we will give them the extra attention these youngsters need. Puppies must be at least 9 weeks old to board, but we can take younger dogs for daycare visits.

Arrivals / Departures On-Leash:

All dogs must be on leash when they come to HTDR and again when they leave. They will have plenty of time for off-leash, co-mingled play while they are with us.

Food & Medications:

When you are boarding your dog with us, we serve a natural high protein dog food as recommended to us by our vets and kennel professionals. However, if you prefer to bring your own food, please:

bring the amount needed for your dog's stay (a day or two extra recommended in case your stay gets extended)
food must be in a sealed, water tight container labeled with your dog's name
feeding instructions should be in standard measuring cup increments, and included on the container in writing.
if you feed a raw diet or other home-cooked meals - portions must be individually packaged so that each serving can be removed from the freezer individually
Prescription Meds: you must bring the bottle with your dog's name and dosage instructions printed on it. There is a an additional fee per day for dispensing medications.

Toys and Belongings:

You are welcome to bring your dog's toys, bones, and / or blankets. These items will remain in your dog's individual kennel; they will not be accessible to other dogs nor will your dog have access to them during co-mingled play. PLEASE, what ever blanket or bedding you bring must be machine washable - blankets and towels work well.

Evaluation Day:

Prior to boarding overnight with us, your dog must attend an evaluation day of daycare. See our Why does my dog need an Evaluation Day sheet.

Cancellations:

Reservations must be cancelled 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged 1 day's full rate.
